Individual Therapy

The truth is, therapy looks different for everyone. Everyone’s process is unique to them and you can’t do therapy right or wrong (sorry perfectionists). That’s one of the best parts of therapy, it is a space just for you. While it is always helpful to have identified goals and to work towards, you set the pace and we pave the path together. You are the expert of yourself. I’m here to support your emotional wellness and offer opportunities of reflection and shared insights.

I’ll utilize different treatment modalities to fit your individual needs. You don’t have to carry it all alone.

Sober Curious?

  • Have you ever questioned your relationship with alcohol?

  • Are you interested in exploring an alcohol-free life, but feel like it's never a good time to try?

  • Feeling tired of drinking, wondering if it's become a problem but don't identify as an alcoholic?

Oh, you are so not alone. Our culture certainly doesn't make it easy, we've been taught to file people under 2 categories: A) a person who can handle their alcohol or B) an Alcoholic. This mindset is of course problematic and not real life. It also keeps you from assessing and addressing your relationship with alcohol. Through our work together, we'll figure out what’s kept you in this cycle of drinking, how it’s getting in the way of enjoying life fully and begin to explore what an alcohol-free life might feel like for you.

Eating Disorders

  • Has food become a source of stress?

  • Do you find yourself turning to food to help soothe difficult emotions?

  • Is the way you feel about your body interfering with social plans, dating or connecting with your partner?

Whether you're feeling stuck in a cycle of eating past the point of fullness, dieting or missing out on trying new things or enjoying life because of the way you feel in your body, I can help you find relief. In our society, it is not uncommon to struggle with food and body image and yet it is so isolating. One of my specialty areas is helping people improve their relationship with food and how they feel in their bodies so they can feel more connected.
